Christy’s Cowl Knitting Pattern

Recently, I’ve been catching up with patterns I’ve been planning to release and revising patterns that need reformatting. One of the patterns that I recently completed is a free pattern for a chunky, alpaca cowl. Last winter, my friend Christy asked if I could make a cowl for her similar to one she’d seen in a local boutique, so I did some research and some swatching, and came up with Christy’s Cowl knitting pattern.

This is a quick and satisfying project, and it results in a really cozy cowl to keep you warm on those really cold winter days.

Here are the details:

Suggested Needles:  US Size 11 & 13 (8.0 & 9.0 mm).

Gauge:  11 sts = 4 inches (10 cm) in pattern, using smaller needle.

  1. Good morning,

Do you detangle yarn? I live in FC and have made a huge mess of my yarn! Please let me know if you can help me.

    Thanks,
    Amanda
