As I’ve written before, I’ve been reformatting my Katinka Knits’ knitting patterns – one at a time. Here’s a pattern that was first published in 2008. It’s perfect for the holiday season – for yourself or as a gift.
Here are the details:
Suggested Yarn: 1 skein of each of 3 colors of Brown Sheep Lamb’s Pride Worsted, 4 oz/113 g, 190 yds/174 m, ?
85% Wool, 15% Mohair. (I used less than one ball each of M-250 Cranberry Swirl, M-11 White Frost, and M-210 Forest Shadows. One or all of these colors may be discontinued, but it would be easy to substitute other red, white and/or green colorways.)
Suggested Needles: US Size 7 (4.5 mm)
Gauge: 18 sts/4 rows = 4”/10 cm in colorwork.
Finished Size: Approximately 22” (56 cm) around.
Techniques: Reading charts, stranded color work, central double decreases, Latvian Braid.
The pattern is available on Ravelry by clicking on the “Buy Now” button above, or on Etsy here.
